I left my first class with Civi physically energized, mentally calm and believing (for the first time) that my fitness goals are possible. I chose the therapeutic yoga class. I'm tired of dragging this aching pile of bones through my 50s and beyond. I wanted to support myself.
What I got was a revelation. Unlike more typical yoga classes, we focused on small muscle movements which supported and made possible more traditional yoga poses. I successfully and properly did the triangle, without any pain!

Following my Mastectomy and breast reconstruction, I enrolled in Civi’s Seniors Therapeutic Yoga Class. After attending just six lessons my mobility and flexibility has increased significantly. Before, I experienced sharp pain just trying to get in and out of a vehicle and now – hardly any pain. I would recommend Civi’s therapeutic class to anyone who wishes to increase flexibility and range of motion.
